The Hunting Chamber of Serbia was founded to achieve goals in the field of protecting the rights and interests of hunting workers and improving hunting in accordance with sustainable management of game populations, general interest and generally accepted international standards in hunting.
As a professional organization of hunting workers, the Hunting Chamber of Serbia was founded on the basis of the Law on Game and Hunting ("Official Gazette of RS", number 18/10).
In a short period of time after its establishment, the Chamber was recognized by hunting workers as an organization with the aim of protecting their interests, which can only be realized through a professional and trade union organization that would follow the legislative policy that refers to its members and timely indicate their position and interests.

That is why the number of members was increasing, so that the membership would rise to the current more than 1,900 members.
After its establishment, the internal organization, the drafting of internal acts and the constitution of the Chambers bodies were started.
For the sake of better organization and the desire to mobilize the base, that is, to hear the opinions of hunting workers from the field, the Chamber organized regional committees, which coincide with the administrative districts and whose members are evenly represented in the bodies of the Chamber.
Members of the Chamber who perform certain jobs in hunting are required by the Law on Game and Hunting to obtain a license, while the Chamber is authorized by law to conduct an exam for obtaining a license and to issue and revoke licenses.
Founded with the aim of improving the position of hunting workers, the Chamber is committed to the education of its members by engaging institutions and individuals from the country and abroad, which will contribute to the improvement of the hunting profession, ensure legal security and protection of the expertise of professional hunting workers, which will also ensure the protection and safety of hunting grounds users.
in terms of hunting grounds management, starting with quality, realistic and applicable planning, through serious and professional implementation of plans and professional protection of game and hunting grounds.
